Aquarium (2026)
The Concert Hall, Toronto (27.05.2026)
BG+ : Boris Grebenshchikov (vocals, guitar), Alexander Titov (bass), Brian Finnegan (flute), Konstantin Tumanov (keyboards and accordion), Liam Bradley (drums), Gleb Grebenshchikov (percussion).
Boris (BG) prominent member of the generation which is widely considered to be the “founding fathers” of Russian rock music.
Boris Grebenshchikov & Aquarium performed a single concert in Canada. In Toronto, they presented their new album, Strange News from a Distant Star, along with legendary songs spanning all eras of the band’s history. A BG concert proved to be much more than just a performance—it was a journey through musical worlds where iconic Aquarium songs, the soundtrack of several generations, met brand-new compositions filled with drama, fresh poetic language, subtle irony, and the unmistakable spirit of BG.
Alongside the new material, the concert featured songs that have long become modern classics of Russian rock and an integral part of the cultural heritage of Russian-speaking audiences. Written across different decades, these songs remained alive, relevant, and open to new interpretations.
